Do readers like non-fiction essays and other writings?

I’m in the fifth stage of edits. I really need to stop messing with the same eight stories. Time for a professional scope. I really mean this.

Anyhow, I decided on writing a new project, which is a collection of personal essays, memoirs, and social criticisms. But how many people really enjoy reading a collection of non-fiction? I asked myself this question after reviewing the category listings on FictionPress.

Readers love General Fiction. I guess that’s just about anything; however, nearly the same number of people love Romance Fiction. It’s probably to make judgements or project pursuits based on what people like, so I’ll try my best to stay on the right path.
